Editorial Standards
Wanan covers luxury fashion with the rigor of journalism and the eye of a curator. Our blog is a publication, not a catalog. This page explains how we work.
What we cover
We write about the brands, pieces and ideas that matter in the landscape of contemporary luxury and fashion — from historic maison to emerging designers. We choose topics based on three signals: seasonal relevance, the depth of the cultural conversation, and the questions our clients and readers are actually asking. When we can't offer a genuine perspective, we pass on the story.
How we research
Our editorial team uses a range of research and writing tools to gather context efficiently — runway archives, brand documentation, market data, and the trade publications that have covered fashion since before we existed. Every claim that touches on a verifiable fact (a designer, a date, a composition, a price, a creative director) is checked against recognized primary or secondary sources before publication.
How we handle our pieces
We do not publish paid placements, sponsored «best of» lists, or commission-driven coverage where the angle bends to the incentive. Recommendations reflect editorial judgment. When we feature a product, it's because we believe it deserves its place in the conversation — for its design, history, craftsmanship, or the cultural moment it captures.
Byline
All articles are published under the byline «Wanan Editorial Team». Our editors come from fashion buying, fashion publishing, and digital publishing. We work as a small team, and every article is reviewed by a senior editor before publication.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it. Substantial corrections are noted at the bottom of the article. If you find an inaccuracy, write to us at info@wananluxury.com.
Independence
Wanan Luxury runs the editorial blog as a service to our clients and to the broader fashion conversation. The editorial team and the commercial team work on separate workflows. Coverage decisions are not influenced by inventory considerations, advertising relationships, or vendor incentives.
