Summer in color analysis is the least common season.

A myth to debunk is definitely the idea that Summer people are only women with light eyes and blonde hair!!

Identikit: light eyes - from blue to grey - ash blonde hair and cool complexion.

The colors and shades that True Summer should prefer must be cool, delicate and light.

A great idea would be to use green ranging from military green to mauve, down to the most pastel shades. Among the other must-have colors are blue, cool red like raspberry, lavender or wisteria mixed with micro patterns.

Definitely a neutral shade that can't be missing from the True Summer's wardrobe is taupe or pearl grey.

SUMMER LIGHT

Identikit: cool, milky complexion, sometimes rosy. Summer Light women have a cool undertone and high intensity.

The colors to focus on must be cool and light such as wisteria and lavender, or light blues. Delicate shades like mint green would also be perfect!

Our advice is to avoid reds, because, even if cool, they could accentuate delicate complexions.

SUMMER COOL

Identikit: the keyword is COOL. In this case intensity is high while value remains light.

The color that definitely can't be missing in a Summer Cool's wardrobe is midnight blue. The other colors cross over from other seasons: mauve, raspberry, tiffany blue, emerald.

SUMMER SOFT

Identikit: low intensity and contrast; light value and cool undertone. Compared to other Summers, the Soft ones manage to have a fair amount of success under the sun's rays.

The colors to focus on are: greys, delicate greens and all the muted, light shades.

For the Softs, the gold-silver rule doesn't apply!

Usually, warm complexions are enhanced by gold and cool ones prefer silver. Summer Softs are the only ones who can wear both gold and silver!

THE AUTUMN WOMAN

The Autumn Season has these distinctive characteristics: women who belong to the Autumn Season all have a warm skin undertone, a color mix value ranging from medium to dark, contrast between the components of the color mix from medium to low and intensity from medium to low.

AUTUMN DEEP

When a person has a warm undertone, low intensity and contrast but above all is particularly dark, we speak of Deep Autumn, that is the Autumn that most "resembles" Winter, with which it shares indeed the dark tone as its dominant characteristic.

AUTUMN WARM

When the undertone is particularly warm (as in the case of those who are naturally redheaded, but not only) and the tone is medium-dark with medium intensity and contrast, we speak of Warm Autumn, that is the type of Autumn where having a warm undertone predominates over all other characteristics: this is also the Autumn subgroup most "similar" to a Spring, the other season with a warm undertone.

AUTUMN SOFT

When the dominant feature is muted colors combined with a warm undertone and medium value (not light but not too dark either!), we speak of Soft Autumn (Muted Autumn). It is the type of Autumn closest and most "similar" to Summer.

WINTER WOMAN

The Winter Season of Color Analysis is characterized by these distinctive characteristics: women who belong to the Winter Season all have a cool skin undertone, a color mix value ranging from medium to dark, contrast between the components of the color mix from medium to high and intensity from medium to high.

When a person has a cool undertone, a good amount of intensity and contrast but above all is particularly dark, we speak of Deep Winter, since the low value is the main characteristic of their color mix. For this reason it is the Winter that most "resembles" Autumn, with which it shares indeed the dark tone.

WINTER COOL

When the undertone is particularly cool and the tone is medium-dark with a moderate amount of intensity and contrast, we speak of Cool Winter, that is the type of Winter where having a cool undertone predominates over all other characteristics. This aspect means that Winter Cool is the type of Winter most "similar" to a Summer, the other season with a cool undertone.

WINTER BRIGHT

There is also a particularly intense type of Winter, whose dominant feature is precisely high intensity and high contrast: this is Bright Winter. Women who belong to the Bright Winter season are cool and dark, like other Winters, but not excessively so, and are therefore the Winters most "similar" to Springs, which are however also light and warm as well as bright.
